Offering Chef Daniel’s signature take on elevated comfort food and New American Cuisine, The Yellowstone Restaurant offers remarkable farm-to-table flavors, presentation and service, creating seasonally-inspired dishes and serving them in a casual dining atmosphere. In-house Pastry Chef Cristasha Reardon creates delectable desserts, pastries, and treats for all palates and dietary preferences and needs. Our menu contains gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as hearty meats and seafoods.

Our Story

Where It All Began

The family at The Yellowstone was created quickly, as the four owners saw a need within our community to provide an elevated dining and lounge experience in Historic Old Town Pocatello. With the intention to augment the great restaurants already in place, The Yellowstone grew with the idea that this restaurant and lounge would be for our community, for our guests. We source our food locally as much as possible, provide a menu for all dietary preferences and needs, have a team of dedicated, creative, competent employees and intend to be the “restaurant of choice” for lunch and dinner not just for locals, but travelers, corporations, small businesses, our university and more.

From our breads and butters, to our soon-to-be-famous desserts (like our Buttercake), our food is lovingly crafted in-house.  Your sure to be delighted and suprised by our food, service and ambiance.

We also house the only Whiskey Room, the 313, in SE Idaho, featuring a staggering array of 170 various bottles.

We have a sincere dedication to careful preparation, thoughtful local sourcing and farm-to-table cooking. We use local produce and proteins as much as possible to provide our guests with the freshest ingredients possible.

Creative Chefs

Our Executive Chef, Chef Daniel Hallman, brings with him years of kitchen experience, restaurant start-ups and artistry. His menu reflects his talents and creative flair, while his food reflects his skill and thorough understanding of flavor.

Our in-house pastry chef, In-house Pastry Chef Cristasha Reardon creates delectable desserts, pastries, and treats for all palates and dietary preferences and needs. Her vast experience in kitchens around the Pacific Northwest has allowed her to run her pastry kitchen like a boss.

Authentic Cuisine

Our hand-processed food will be as consistent as the industrially processed versions, and those small variations reward our guests with a new experience with each bite. Our kitchen staff creates in-house sauces, dressings, and more with our fresh, local ingredients. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are also available and on the menu.

House-Made Desserts

Our very own Pastry Chef, Cristasha Reardon, makes all of our desserts in-house, using the best available ingredients and time-proven methods. Order one to share, or indulge with one yourself. Either way, we know you’ll be happy you did. Gluten-free available upon request.
